Willow Reads (18+ Series): Their Virgin Captive by Shayla Black and Lexi Blake

Brothers Gavin, Slade, and Dex, fall hard for Gavin’s new secretary, beautiful Hannah Craig. The oil executives know they must give her time to get to know them before she can choose one . . . who will seduce the virgin and keep her for his own. But when a dangerous predator begins stalking the small-town beauty, they work together to protect her, abducting Hannah and spiriting her to an isolated hideaway. Once alone with her, none of them can contain their burning desire. Though Slade and Dex don’t mind sharing, Gavin’s tragic past has put distance between him and his brothers. Now, they’re hoping that not only will Hannah love them back . . . but maybe mend their fractured family.

After overcoming her initial fears, the men teach her wild pleasure she’s never imagined. She grows closer to each, their devotion melting her inhibitions. Hannah finds herself embracing love with all three men—and hoping she can heal Gavin’s wounded soul. But her new found happiness turns to terror when her stalker finds her. Will Gavin, Slade and Dex lose their woman to a menace that threatens everything they hold dear, or will they finally unite to make Hannah theirs forever?

This was such an unbelievable read. Not good unbelievable, but the bad kind. This didn't really work out for me and I'm glad it was such a short read- it only took me two days to complete.. And my goodreads rating is only 1 star, because there is nothing lower and I wanted those suggestions to be far from this book.

Here were some of the issues that crossed my mind as I tried my best to accept this book. I really tried. xD They're just popping up in my head as I go, so they might not be in order.

1.) In the beginning of the book, we're introduced to a plan of Slade and Dex's about how this girl Hannah will be "theirs." To be in a consensual relationship with someone (or someoneS in this case), you have to have the consent of everyone involved in all cases. This deal makes them seem like creepy rapists, and they're trying to get Gavin in on it. Gavin is the only sane one for a while, but then that changes toward the end, too.
2.) Polygamy seems pretty much the same as the Menage deal. And, in today's world, this is considered not only sick and gross, but illegal. I know it would definitely bother me to sleep with more than one person- to even consider marrying three guys would drive me up a wall.
3.) After coming up with this plan, they coax poor Hannah into not going to see her grandmother on this trip she'd been planning for a while. She was forced to go on a private company jet, after Dex broke into her apartment and went through her belongings... And in the midst of it all, didn't grab any bras or underwear because he just assumed the gross plan will go through.
4.) I hate big egos like that.
5.) When they're on the jet, they're so confident with this whole thing that they spank Hannah. And she actually likes it. That brings me to my next point.
6.) Hannah... yeah. She just willingly lets these guys she works for use her. Her first time and she's already letting two guys have sex with her, one after another. And she barely knows these guys. Sure, she's worked for the company for a while, but that means nothing. Personal and work lives generally stay separate. This is nothing about sex before marriage, either. I'm glad that none of the characters seem to have a religion, because that'd add more to complain about. xD But anyway, Hannah is weak and is one of those people that needs a guy to exist.
7.) Hannah goes with it. She lets these weirdos do this to her, with the spanking and the butt plug and the drama. I was cheering for her to leave but then the pilot was drunk. And they got to her.

So these are just a few of the points I hated about this book. I won't be reading Masters of Menage #2, but I'll move on to another book on my to-read list over on Goodreads. Something a little more innocent next time, probably. xD
